Every Day Actions • Dissertation Outcome
This was a competition breif I entered by RSA (Student Design Awards). The breif was called 'Everyday well-being' and the challange was 'Design a way for people to increase everyday behaviours that build mental well-being." In response to this, I conceptualised an online self-development program that users can participate in, on a daily basis. The program entails completing a set of actions that target the users emotional, mental, physical states of being, to evoke and develop positivity throughout the mind and body, in order to regain a sense of
inner peace and wellbeing. Some of the 'daily actions' include breathing, movement, incantations, visualisations, and some as simple as smiling. This would all be supplemented with a feed of positive information to supplement the content. The concept is delivered in the format of a website which will be responsive to each digital screen it encounters. This enables the users a greater accessibility, to engage in the program wherever they are in the world and by logging into the site, they can access their own personal users area.
