This was a project for my dissertation I produced in 2014. The required outcomes were a written essay supported by a visual piece. I wanted my topic to be based on something I could learn from and practically use. Exploring online platforms and printed material for a designer’s self promotion is the theme I decided on. This worked nicely with being able to put my research into practice as my degree was finishing. I decided to create a magazine aimed at design graduates to work out which avenues would be suit them in order to promote themselves effectively.
The magazine included a look into the most successful printed and digital methods of self promotion, freelance and agency considerations along with surveys and interviews I gathered during my research.
